Cabernet Pappou began on May 23, 2021 as a joke among friends. The name—part wordplay, part nod to Greek roots—stuck. Within weeks, there was an Instagram account, and not long after, a T-shirt and hat made for a trip to Greece: the first unofficial prototypes.
Then life did what it does. The idea never went away; it simply took the long way around. After years of starts, stops, and “eventually,” Cabernet Pappou is finally available beyond the original circle.
The joke is still part of it. So are the friendships, the Greek roots, and the belief that the best things do not have to take themselves too seriously. Cabernet Pappou is clothing built around that spirit: relaxed, considered, and made with personality.
